It's way to early to start planning my Halloween Horror Nights 2011 Orlando trip but it's never too early to start checking the rumor mill speculation about themes for this years haunted houses.

A quick search didn't reveal a whole lot of information except a few basic rumors;

Rumor: Halloween Horror Nights 2011 will be held at Universal Studios again.

My thought: I think we can count on this happening. If fact, I would expect Halloween Horror Nights to be held at Universal Studio for the next several years. Why? Harry Potter. Until the fan fare and hoop tee doo about this new section dies down they will keep Islands of Adventure separate from HHN so there is plenty of cross over.

Rumor: Halloween Horror Nights 2011 will have a 3D Haunted House

My thought: What's the point... the haunted houses are already 3D. Why go to the expense of filming in 3D then projecting it onto a flat screen in hopes of making something look like what they already have?

Rumor: Halloween Horror Nights 2011 will only be open to adults 18 and older

My thought: This has been rumored for a few years now, but it doesn't seem likely that the folks at Universal would poke their nose up at all that teenage revenue.

Rumor: Number of Scare Zones - 4 or is it 8?

My Thought: Some rumor four, some rumor 8. I'm guessing 6... any ideas how I came up with that?

Rumor: Brian Brushwood Returns to Halloween Horror Nights 2011

My Thought: Plausible. Bryan actually had two shows at Halloween Horror Nights 2010, Menace and Malice, that received good reviews. Personally, I'd prefer them to mix it up a little.
